Welcome to Dark Barrier Hub. This Privacy Decree governs how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you visit dark-barrier-hub.web.app. By using this site, you agree to the practices described herein. Please read carefully — knowledge is power.

Account Information

• Your name — provided during first-time profile setup
• Email address — used for passwordless sign-in via Firebase
• Profile picture — uploaded by you, stored securely in Firestore

Automatic Technical Data

• IP address, browser type, and device information
• Pages visited, timestamps, and general usage patterns
• Firebase Analytics session and event data

• Authenticate your identity and manage your account securely
• Display your profile name and avatar within the Hub
• Improve site performance and user experience over time
• Monitor for abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access attempts
• Respond to support or contact inquiries you initiate
• Understand aggregate usage trends via Firebase Analytics

We use your data only for the purposes above. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties — ever.

All user data is stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication using passwordless email links — we never store passwords.

• All traffic is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption
• Firestore access is restricted — users can only read and write their own data
• Profile images are stored as base64 within Firestore, not on public file servers
• Firebase is governed by Google's enterprise-grade security and compliance standards

We do not sell, rent, barter, or trade your personal data to any third party. Your information may be disclosed only in these narrow circumstances:

• Firebase / Google: As our infrastructure provider, they process data per their own privacy policy
• Legal obligations: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users

You are the sovereign of your own data. You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct — Update your name, email, or profile image at any time via your profile page
• Delete — Request complete removal of your account and associated data
• Withdraw — Stop using the service at any time; stored data remains until you request deletion
• Object — Raise concerns about how your data is being used

We use browser localStorage (not traditional cookies) to retain session state — specifically your user ID — so you stay logged in between visits.

• No advertising or tracking cookies are placed on your device
• Firebase may set functional cookies to manage authentication sessions
• You can clear localStorage via your browser's developer tools or settings at any time

The Hub may contain links to external realms — GitHub, download mirrors, external libraries, and more. Once you leave our domain, this Privacy Decree no longer applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

Dark Barrier Hub is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us immediately and we will remove it without delay.

We may amend this Privacy Decree as the Hub evolves. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with an updated seal date. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
